Island Adventure Camp (IAC) is a week long evening (5pm-8pm) program for children ages 4-12. Our theme this year is Jungle Safari - "where kids explore the nature of God."
Get ready for a life-changing adventure taking place right here at Campbell River Baptist Church.
We'd like to invite participants of Island Adventure Camp and their families to join us for supper each night from 5pm-5:45. Please indicate on your registration how many we should expect each night so we can prepare enough food. This has been a highlight for the last two years as it gives a chance to meet new people and to not have to rush home between events during the day and IAC.
After supper the children get dropped off and whisked away to Toucan Jam where kids will sing, shout, praise, pray, and be introduced to a Bible story and the daily theme. Then after kids experience the other activities of the day, kids gather back at Toucan Jam to be encouraged to count on God and to be motivated to serve others.
Other sites at Jungle Safari include Zip Line Bible Time where kids will explore the Bible story in a variety of interactive ways; Jaguar Junction where kids have time to move around and have fun; Lizards Leap where kids have fun creating musical crafts; and Slug-A-Bug S.W.A.M.P. where kids are encouraged to serve with a mighty purpose! All these fun activities connect to the Bible story, Bible memory, and the nature of God!
