WORTH DYING FOR - Matthew 8:28-34
What Does it Say?  v31-34 Jesus allowed demons that He cast out of two men to go into a herd of pigs.  The pigs plunged into the lake and drown.  The herdsmen went and told the townspeople and they begged Jesus to go away and leave them alone.
What Does it Mean?  The townspeople didn't think about the two men that were demon possessed.  All they cared about was the pigs the demons destroyed. Jesus cared and He was in complete control of the demons and they knew it.  They knew they could not enter the pigs without Jesus’ permission.  Why do you think Jesus allowed the farmer’s pig to drown?  We don’t know all the answers, but we do see repeatedly that Jesus came to set people free from bondage. Jesus cares about you and the pain you are going through.  He cares so much He died, so you could be free from Satan's control.  Think of it, the God who created the universe paid the price so you could be free.  He knows everything about you and He loves you anyway.  Do you feel His loving arms around you?  Even if you don't, He is there and He cares.  Tell Him what is going on in your life and how you feel about it.  Ask Him to comfort you and make himself real to you.  Thank Him for loving you in spite of your darkest secret.
