Do you want to be well?

Jesus answers the the question: Do you want to be well? He says to stop sinning. To pharaphrase: Turn from your sinful ways and turn to me. But notice something.  Jesus didn’t lead with the man’s sin.  He didn’t hit him over the the head with scripture.  Jesus blessed him.  He connected with him and it gave him an opportunity to speak truth into his life.  He did it gently and respectfully.   Let’s look at how John describes Jesus back in chapter 1: John 1:14 ESV 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.   We need to live lives of filled with Grace and Truth.
