This week, as we continue in our new sermon series, “Gospel Partners,” we will explore Galatians 1:10-24, focusing on the remarkable story of Paul and his conversion. The scripture prompts us to delve into the transformative journey of Paul, highlighting the pivotal moment when he encountered the Gospel and experienced a profound change. With Paul’s conversion story as a backdrop, this text encourages believers to ponder not only the mechanics of sharing the Gospel but also the personal impact it has had on their own lives and the lives of others. What is our transformation story? How do I share that with others? Have you explored sharing different ways in which the gospel continuously makes a difference in your life?

As of January 15th, 2024 - Deb Tiede will be stepping down from her role in Children’s Ministry and HamaElas to help support her family. We are so grateful for Deb and her ministry here, and are so glad she will continue as a volunteer!

As we continue to move our vision forward, we believe internships are one of the best ways to help the next generation take their next steps with Jesus. Taking this into account, we are excited to announce we have hired Halle Edelman as a Children’s Ministry intern and that Lyann Kazakoff will take on the coordinator role for the Hama’elas role as an interim. Halle has served in Children’s Ministry as a volunteer for two and half years and has shown her growing character and deepening love, and trust in Jesus.  

Leora approached the church board with this particular hire and the decision was made by Leora, the Director of Children’s Ministry, and the CRBC board, to avoid any conflict of interest with the Lead Pastor. Halle will serve as an interim Children’s Ministry intern for the next 6 months and at that point we will reevaluate what our needs are as a staff and church before moving forward. We are so thrilled that by equipping another young leader we will be able to run the Children's Ministry well, helping more people to take their next steps with Jesus.

GriefShare is a special weekly support group designed to help you rebuild your life after losing a loved one. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and want to help you through the difficult days ahead.

We know it hurts and we want to help.

The group will be held at CRBC on Mondays, starting Jan 15th
