Have you ever gone for a long walk or a run and been unable to go as far as you planned? The bench by the side of the path or the car in the parking lot looked better than continuing the walk or run? The Bible often compares our relationship with God to a race and encourages us to continue running with God, even when we feel tired or discouraged. This week in our service we will be looking at some of the things that slow us down or stop us in our relationship with God, and find some simple ways to find encouragement to help us restart or keep going with him.

On Saturday night, we'll set our clocks back one hour. We'll see you on Sunday, all bright eyed and bushy tailed. 

We are having a Widows and Widowers Christmas Party this year. There is no cure for grief, but food and good company can soothe the soul. At Christmas we remember the birth of Christ, our hope, and we can also remember and celebrate our stories in light of that hope. Please register with Lorraine Rommel, and feel free to bring a friend.

We are so glad to announce our new custodian, Dan Major. Dan is a wonderful man who, by his own admission, has a hard time saying no when someone needs help. We enjoy Dan around the office, his warmth and his gentleness, and also his attention to detail as he cleans our building. If you see Dan around, please introduce yourself, as we want him to feel like a part of the family here at CRBC.
