This Sunday, we are continuing a sermon series called “War For Your Soul” as our enemy, Satan, seeks to destroy anyone who seeks to follow God. A war is being waged for your soul and for the souls of others. Often the Bible encourages us to "stand strong" - "stand firm." How do we stand strong when we are being attacked by other people or by spiritual forces? How do we prepare? How does our faith in Messiah Jesus make us overcomers in life's struggles?
As this will be the Sunday before Remembrance Day we will take time to remember those who fought physical battles for freedom and justice. We will pray for peace in a confusing world. We also will be remembering through Communion what the Prince of Peace did for us on a cross 2000 years ago and pray for His strength to reach a troubled world with good news.
