Did you know that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available today? If you first reaction is “yes, yes…sure, sure”, then do you really believe it? Have you experienced it? It’s about praying a prayer that begins your life — it’s the power of God to bring you to life. When you experience it, it’s like realizing you have been wandering in the dark, and the lights have suddenly been turned on. It’s like the difference between seeing in black and white and seeing in colour. It gives meaning to life, it’s the knowledge that God is with us, for us, and at work in us. Because of Easter. Because of His resurrection power, we can answer the call of Jesus, leave what is keeping us enslaved, and follow him, experiencing unexplainable joy, hope, peace, and satisfaction in this life despite the mess in our world.
