The Characters of Christmas: Mary
As we approach Christmas, this sermon invites us to reflect on the life of Mary, the mother of Jesus, whose extraordinary faith and obedience demonstrate three profound truths: God's divine calling, His limitless power, and His unchanging faithfulness. Mary, a humble young woman from Nazareth, was chosen not because of her status but because of God's sovereign grace. Her story challenges us to trust in God’s plans, even when they seem beyond our understanding, and to believe in His ability to accomplish the impossible. Mary's unwavering faith in God’s promises, despite the uncertainty she faced, reminds us that God’s faithfulness endures across generations. As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ, let us also prepare our hearts for His return, living with faith, hope, and anticipation. Like Mary, may we respond to God’s calling with a heart of surrender and trust in His perfect plan. For more infomation visit:

A candlelit singing of "Silent Night" We are encouraging everyone to invite someone and be in prayer for our service. |
Thank you!
We are inspired and grateful for the enthusiasm and generosity of our congregation this season! 400 Christmas invites were handed out, more than 20 Christmas Hampers, and hundreds of cookies baked by yours truly. Because of your effort our Christmas Carol service was attended by 600 people. In what can be a very difficult season for many, it is wonderful that so many people are encountering the good news of Jesus as they approach Christmas. Please continue praying for Christmas Eve, and for all our staff and volunteers as we prepare for the service. Thank you! |
