Have you ever wondered what Jesus says about dealing with difficult people or our enemies? More specifically, those who hate, curse, and mistreat you? In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus flips the historical understanding of what it means to love your neighbour, challenging us to redefine who our enemies are and how we see them. But He doesn’t stop there—He calls us to love them in ways that seem impossible. Is it even possible to love those who purposely mistreat us? Our week-long Island Adventure Camp is back this summer!  Although it may feel like summer is a long way away, we want to ensure you save the dates on your calendar.  

What is Island Adventure Camp?  

Island Adventure Camp is an evening summer camp. The program will include songs, skits, games, crafts, and Bible stories. IAC will be an excellent opportunity for us all to grow in our knowledge and love of Jesus and make lasting memories and friendships. 

THE DATES: July 14 - 18th.

THE TIMES: 5pm - 8pm. At 5pm, Dinner is provided for the entire family. If you aren't able to make it to dinner, that's ok! The kids program starts at 5:45pm and ends at 8pm. 

THE WHO: There will be programs for children Age 4 to Grade 5

Here are the top three reasons to put these dates on your calendar right now:

1. EVERYONE: Start praying for IAC 2025, that every need will be provided for and that every child hears the good news of Jesus!

2. If you have kids - block off that time to ensure you're in town for this fun summer camp!

3. If you don't have kids, block this time so you can get involved in one of the best events of the year at CRBC!

Registration will open on April 6th, 2025

If you are leading a small group, or interested in starting a small group, this training session is for you! Pastor Josh will be leading us as we learn more about the pillars of our small groups and connect with other leaders.

We'll be meeting following the service on Sunday, Feb 23rd. The meeting lasts one hour, please bring a bag lunch.
