Words that Weather StormsThe Sermon on the Mount What words do you live by? There are words that exist at the deepest level of each of us that drive us to get out of bed every morning, that cause us to act the way we do, and that motivate us to move in the direction we are heading in life. At the end of Christ’s Sermon on the Mount, he challenges listeners to replace the words we live by with the words he speaks. He says if we’re willing to live “these words” that our lives will not be shaken, even through life’s storms. In Matthew 7:24-27 Christ concludes his sermon with a parable drawing from his profession as a carpenter. He assures us we can build an unshakable foundation for our lives on his words. Please pray for Derek Bird and the team as they prepare for the service. We are looking forward to what God is going to do this Sunday! For more infomation visit:

Opportunity to participate!
This Sunday we are filming a short video for our Easter service and we'd love to have your participation. The video will highlight our community answering the following two questions: 1) Who is Jesus? 2) Because Jesus lives, what difference has that made in your life? Each person would have approximately 15-20 seconds to briefly answer one way that Jesus has changed their life, and who He is to them. If you're interested, there's no need to sign up, we'll direct you to our media room upstairs following the service. |

Easter SundayApril 20th at 10am What is this sound we hear? The birds are chirping! And what is that smell, are the flowers blooming? That's right! We notice the signs of new life all around us. Easter is coming soon, and we want everyone to start praying about who they can invite. We want the good news of Jesus to reach those who are lost, broken, and hopeless in our city. This year we are exploring who Jesus is, and how His life and story brings change and hope. Let's take this next step and invite who Jesus brings to mind. Everyone is welcome! |

Apologetics Class
New topic - "Never Read a Bible Verse" Did that get your attention? The question that's being asked in this new series is: Are you reading Bible verses out of context, or interpreting the Bible correctly? Though anyone can pick up the Bible and learn from it, it’s also possible to miss the meaning of some passages because they were written in a different time, culture, and language. In this course, Alan Shlemon will teach you how to apply three key principles to everyday Bible reading so you accurately interpret God’s Word. You’ll be amazed how proper biblical interpretation will help you glean new insights from familiar passages, correct mistaken understandings of the text, and deepen your appreciation for Scripture. This is a must-take course for every believer eager to understand and be transformed by God’s Word. Start date April 14th at 6:30. Email Pastor Josh with any questions. For more infomation visit:
